I am playing fallout in the ps3 and i came across this really frustrating glitch. First time i talked to faydra about the arena fight, i managed to tell her "i am ready to fight" however the gate to the hole never opened. After a long time trying to figure out how to open it ( even trying to pickpocket her, but she didnt carry a key) i left The Mil, when i entered again, Faydra was GONE, she dissapeared and the gate is still closed, i have no idea of what shall i do, help please. Do you have an older save where you can restart the quest? Sometimes it helps. Unfortunately recent Fallout games have these kinds of problems all the time.
It's the first time I heard of this, maybe your save is corrupt? Try to search on Google for similar issues.
I tried, im afraid the only way is going back to the prevous save. Which means bye bye 10 hours of gameplay Twisty BR
