Last One, after a highly anticipated waiting period, the Lord of the Rings Extended great Edition Blu-ray is available for us rabid Tolkien fans of Middle-earth! If there was ever a trilogy just begging to be upgraded to Blu-ray it would have to be the Lord of the Rings trilogy hands down. The brilliant cinematography of Peter Jackson's films are nothing short of breathtakingly spectacular,
Seen it, maybe its because I haven't watched the original in a while but I didn't see muc of a difference... i really didn't, maybe about 13 minutes of added footage?
Old thread but I figured I'd post my opinion anyway. I didn't notice that big a difference at all. I hardly ever do with extended versions because the extension is now added into the movie like it was always there. it felt exactly the same to me.
