Reds previously attempted to enter D6?

    I made an interesting discovery in my second playthrough of the game. On the surface, when you're closing in on the Red Square if I'm correct (Can't exactly remember where), there should be a Reds' outpost with a voice recorder, explaining how they attempted getting to the Kremlin but failed. Was this an attempt to just explore the Kremlin, or could it have been a previous attempt to enter D6, Sparta Base, through the back-door?
    (For those of you who don't remember, when the Dark One takes you into the mid of General Moskvin, it is revealed that Comrade Korbut had planned to strikeD6 through the back entrance; the Kremlin. And so he most likely did indeed.

    I'm sure the Fourth Reich and Hanza also tried to get into D6 aswell. Hanza probably walked up to a door to D6 noticed it was locked and walked home.

    Those are rangers. They had three outposts in the yards near Kremlin.

    Only problem, though, why would the rangers leave their house, walk around the block and try to break their way into their own backyard instead of just walking out there from the back-entrance of their house?

    1. Because Depot and Hansa are closer than Ruins -> Red Square -> Alexander's Garden -> Tunnels.
    2. These outposts might have been made before the D6 was discovered.

    I think you misunderstood. I meant why would they leave D6 and walk out onto the surface to get to the Kremlin when Kremlin actually is the back entrance of D6?

    Because they didn't go start from D6. First outpost is next to depot and they moved towards the square from there.

    So you're saying that the voice recordings are as old as from before the rangers took over D6?

    Rangers?

    Man,i think that those are the rangers speaking,but still i palyed the campaign 6 times and i know the story as my pocket,but i didn't think that those are the reds talking on those recorders i thought that those ppl were rangers.. :eek:hwell:

    People in D6

    And 1 more thing man,soebody did enter D6 before the Rangers found it,because in metro 2033 when artyom get in D6 with Miller and the others,There are tons of money bullets,and ammo,weapons,and even bodyes with ammo on them.1 thing is for shure the D6 isn't untouched as most of the people claim,someone did get there after the nuclear war,stalkers maybe,reds,riech ppl? :shocked:

    see man comodo i told him the same thing,man you need to listen carefully,like me i passed the game 6 times so i can check every corner of it and listen every dialouge carefuly.

    Lets assume for a minute a garrison was in D6 for i dont know watching weaponised ebola eat a rat or something nuclear war goes off.

    The d6 thingy seals itself.
    Random guard breaks vial creats bio mass
    Bio mass eats lots of guards and things
    And i guess the rest died of having no oxgyen?
    And D6 just preserved the bodies

    Spider Lair DLC story is a perfect example of what has happened in D6. It could have been visited by stalkers before, but none of them made it out.
