last light release date?

i dun believe it, i mean we already saw a gameplay and untill 2013 what are we going to see?how artyom pees?impossible they will not realise it at 2013,probably april or march

 

Well the official word (for now) is 2012... when exactly? I have no idea. But that date on IGN is probably just an estimate or rumour - I wouldn't worry about that.

Well, the Wii U is going to launch at the end of 2012 and Metro Last Light is a launch(?) game for the Wii U, so it could be that the PC, Ps3 and Xbox 360 versions will be released at the same time.

 

I want the game before the summer, school holiday 'n shit.. lol

 

mid 2012 is when it is coming out, if it releases too close to AAA titles which are out near Oct/Nov then it will effect sales just like Rage, Skyrim lately.

 

I've tried figuring this out before, but what exactly is a AAA title? Is that an extremely high-budget game?

I qoute a guy from this website (2nd comment). Actaully I have no idea, but I suppose it's kinda like the Credits Evaluations made to diffrent countries atm. You know, the AA+, AA, A+, A etc etc ^^

 

Yeah. I looked around, no-one really had an idea. Some said it was quality, some said it was budget. So I guess it means "made by a big company".

I can't imagine it launching 2013, about mid 2012 sounds right. That, and that's IGN, not exactly the most reliable source of information.

 

Games like Gears of War, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Fifa are AAA titles ones which get high sales and have a massive fan base.

If everything goes alright they might realese it at mid 2012, and if not, well then it might be later 2012 or early 2013 :/

 

They should release it late 2011. Oh well, I have Stalker for now...

It's nice to see Metro is getting some publicity, even making it onto some "Most Expected" lists. And it seems that the release date might be summer 2012 (which is why I put it in this thread). Lets hope it comes out in May-June!

 

I really want THQ to give 4A all the time in the world to get this game perfect. I have been so disappointed by titles which have been rushed out the door lately like BF3 that it takes patch after patch to get right.

With Last Light rumoured to have some kind of co-op and MP mode I really want this game to excel both in the graphical department and gameplay.

 

^ I agree, too many games have rushed deadlines, especially in the bug-testing departments. The developers/companies should have an extra two or three weeks in mind before they state a release date. Better safe than sorry.

 

I thought it was a launch title for the Wii-u. It might be released whenever the console is released.

 

Well I'll wait if that game will be more epic than it was previous time but one more year ??? Come on man... That's big time... On youtube in comments I read sb wrote 12 may. Don;t know if that's correct ...
