Hunter Ranger. Yay or Nay?

The Hunter Ranger class has been released recently and I have to say I absolutely adore it! Being able to switch from ranged to melee on a dime is exciting and gives a new perspective on combat. It's definitely right up there with Cleric as far as favorite class goes.

What are your opinions on the new class?
Do you still prefer another class, and if so why?

The Hunter Ranger is quite dear to my heart in the tabletop game. I'm really excited about the immense damage the new class deals but I'm unsure as to exactly what the combat role will be for the ranger. Regardless, I find the play-style very enjoyable and the overall art-theme of the class quite cohesive with the idea of a "Ranger". Really appealing overall. Yea!

Good to hear other people have given the HR a shot (haha, so punny)! I've played a bit more and I'm starting to realize just how versatile and useful it is. I doubt it'll be confined to a single combat role like the Cleric and Guardian Fighter are.
