I use the same tactic with letting Khan shoot all, maybe except for one, of the mutants. Saves a lot of ammo I'll go with Khan on this one, he helps you alot, especially with realizing that the Dark Ones intend no harm.
Haha, Bourbon Saved my ass a few times though in that scene where you are waiting for the guards to open the doors. that parts Bloody Annoying if you'r just trying to use a Thair!
Bourbon was useless. What was that level where you had to kill the bandits and he just hid in a little corner and only came out after you killed them all? Shamelessly I've forgotten all the names, but if I was to choose a useless companion it would be that guy at D3 who kept shouting out those numbers; "hit 1", "now hit 2", "now1 again".... I thought it would never stop
Oh no, that was terrible. Running like a madman, unsure if you were doing it right, wondering how long it would take before you fell off that narrow ledge...
Bourboun,Uncle Bourbon is the best, only of the hilarious way of expressing himself of his. "People call them Demons.I call them bitches"
I think my favourite companion was Bourbon. Sure he might wasn't so much helpful but I think he was like a stalker might be, ruthless when he must, makes shady deals to earn some bullets and willing to exploit people, tho he is not entirely evil. Also he has some great character too. "Don't eat yellow snow". That would be Miller I think, the leader of the rangers.
Everyone companion had its personality and a different dead scene, its hard say the best companion, but it would be Bourbon ( i hope one day we can know his true name ) and Khan. the first was a bad-ass stalker with strange taste of humor and the other was shaman with all those latin and ghost stories. To bad Bourbon had dead. It would be great team of Artyom, Khan and Bourbon. All metro would respect them
wow, no1 favorite is Artyom? Cuz that is for me. The best in the team, he took alot of rensposibillity on his shoulders on every mission he did, risked his life to save others such as the kid you have to take with you, fought and won his fears, he left the closed mind of others and realized that just because something is different you must not fight it and alot more thingies that I think other rangers could ever made.
well i'm sorry xD but you dont always have the role of Artyom in the book right? so though he might be a companion for others too.
Metro 2033 is a first person novel, focusing solely on the thoughts of Artyom, and nobody else. Unless you're talking about Metro 2034, which I haven't read. I'm not mad, I just don't want one of my threads to get off-topic again. I don't know about Khan in Last Light. I really liked him in Metro 2033 but it seems like they're messing him up in M:LL.
