Sеriоusly - yоu gеt lоts оf lооt, thеrе's аlwаys а сhаnсе (whiсh yоu саn imprоvе) thаt yоu'll gеt Rеаlly Gооd Shit, аnd yоu саn find nеw аrеаs, сhеsts, аnd mоbs tо kill tо gеt thе RGS. Yоu саn plаy sоlо. This is gооd fоr pеоplе whо likе tо plаy аt оdd hоurs, whо аrеn't sосiаl, whо оnly likе tо plаy with pеоplе thеy knоw (аnd, likе mе, hаvе nо friеnds, muсh lеss friеnds whо plаy gаmеs with thеm, sаvе my husbаnd). I think Diablo became very popular because of the good repercussion among the players around the world. The game has a good story, has great graphics and it's very dynamic.
Yah, you get lots of shit. For real - you get lots of loot..and can play solo too..Nice for people who like to play at odd hours. And you can also play with up to three other people. This makes it manageable, but not overwhelming.
If you played Diablo I and II you will know that Diablo started it all before Ragnarok and etc. The cinematics are great, the story is well made and the characters have a different flavor. The graphics are very detailed.
I also second those who talk about the community of players, and of course at the time those graphics were amazing. I learned about it through word of mouth so you can certainly count that.
My husband used to enjoy it, especially Diablo 2. One of the reasons, was because of his schedule. Like you said, you can play Diablo at odd hours. You can play for as long or as little as you want and still feel like you're doing something. Also, he just thought it was fun.
For me Diablo 2 is the best game ever! This game involves you from beginning to end in a very cool way. Every act that you pass, the game becomes more challenging. It is very easy to understand and to play Diablo. What I like most about the game is the story and the soundtrack. It is possible to notice that the game was made thinking in the smallest details so that the player feels connected with the story.
