If we had Valve the game would come out in like 5 years. I wouldn't mind Bethesda since pretty much every game they've made has been game of the year other than New Vegas. And what they did with Skyrim? Hell have Metro Last Light on the Skyrim engine...im hard already.

Wtf man. The engine last light uses is way better looking than skyrims. All that ones good for is open world games. Which LL isnt.

Really anybody other than Activision and EA sounds fine to me. Ubisoft would be all right with me. I mean, I wouldn't be thrilled with Ubisoft but I'd be able to live just fine with it. And since I'm an Xbox gamer the whole "PC's = Satan" mentality doesn't really affect me.

Since Last Light would be in its late development stages, I think it's safe to say companies like Bethesda would do well to be its publisher. Bethesda might have an engine meant for open world, but I heavily doubt they'd scrap years of work just to switch to Skyrim Engine. I can sense a heavy support for modding and DLCs, if ever they do add a little of their own twist, but they'll likely stay faithful to the setting as they did with the Fallout Series when they got it(limited liberties, mostly faithful). Also, Obsidian might also be a nice company, though my lack of experience with their products stop me from going there whole heartedly.

Well EA is good for the publishing part of it, but they're not quite as consumer-friendly as some of the alternatives. I hope for Bethesda or Valve, but from the options above, I'd say EA.

Gentlemen, unless you want THQ's legacy to stands for To Hell with Quality, EA is the worst possible choice you could make. It has been well-documented that this company tends to ruins franchises, close down studios, doesn't want developers to have total creative control and likes to nickle and dime their consumers by resorting to the most corrupt of business practices available to them.

Just this morning I bumped into this Gamespot article about Alice creator American McGee's sharing his experiences with the company. Or how about this?

I don't have much to say on this matter as I am unexperienced with the affects a publisher would make to the game, and with how the different publishers tend to act. So therefor, I voted for 'Other', and I'd have to agree with Cerberus and say that I'd want it to be self-published.

I won't be the one to pay them 3 million dollars, that's for sure.
