Anyone notice the pricing difference in Ranger difficulties? And how filters don't last as long? What if there are more differences? What subtle differences to Ranger difficulty would you add in Metro Last Light? For me, I'd increase air consumption if the player sprints.
You should read one of the Metro short stories I wrote, dude. There is one part of it that directly relates to filter consumption - and why a child goes through twice the filters the ex-stalker (main character) does during the same amount of time. Very cool stuff. As for on-topic, I would make quite a few changes in Ranger difficulty. I will mull over it for a little while and then come back to this thread.
Slightly more recoil with every weapon. When firing an automatic gun - especially one that was crafted in the metro - I want it to be very hard to control. I could think of more changes/additions if I gave it some time, but I can't come up with anything on the spot atm, so I too might return later on and post more like Pip.
What would be a little cool would be a slight possibility for some weapons to just suddenly get destroyed and scramble apart, for example the barrel just falling off or the magazine not wanting to stay in the weapon
Your knife gets dull with use and the only way to sharpen it is to take it to someone with a wetstone/ grinder.
