Hi, I'm stuck in the tunnel, not sure what to do next. There's a fork in the road, I drove my rail car to the left. It's stuck at then end of this road. How do I back up, switch the tracks and bust thru the right side of the tunnel?
It should be as easy as pressing the "back" key on your keyboard (Most likely the 'S' key), if your on a console just press the analog stick backwards. And if your trying to switch the tracks there should be a lever somewhere along the side of the tracks that can be switched.
you have to turn the car first if you knocked yourself into something.. in PC is the SPACE button. once the car is running, you use the same WASD type movement (front and back, aka W and S) to move around. once you back enough, shot the rail sign.. it will turn and will move the railing. so you just have to press W again to move into it. to resume, the railcar will only move to whatever railline is connected. so to change direction, shot the switch devices on the sides of the railline.
OK.... Spoiler As i remember it, you were right the first time... You need to be in the left hand tunnel, not the one with the back of the rail car poking out. The left hand tunnel appers to be blocked off, but you just need to back your railcar up and drive at the barricade at some speed to smash through it.
I give up, I don't know how to move the rail car from the end of the tunnel on the left. There is a passage at the end of the left tunnel, that I bust open with my knife and something attacks me. I kill it, but can't crouch low enough to enter that doorway either. The compass sucks too.
To go left, or whatever direction you want to go, you need to move the railcar past the rail sign and then you can shoot it or get of the railcar to turn it manually.
you are NOT SUPPOSED TO GO THAT WAY!! get in the railcar, turn it on (space) backoff (aka go back via the car) all the way until the bifurcation. you will hear a huge clank and the car will make a noise.. keep going back a little more until you see the sign to switch. the switch is very clear on the RIGHT SIDE with a sign of an arrow. just shot at it, and you will see the rail track switch of side from the right, to the left.. then you can go to the bandit's hideout. now... Spoiler you can either save the child and the women by wiping the entire bandit base via the door on the right after you pass the "warnings".. or just push at max speed to smash the spike wall and then enter the last part.. where you have to call the BOAT.. remember for search for guns here.. you will find the QUADSHOTGUN which is very useful for monsters in this part.
at this point I wonder if you're a troll, but ill bite.. should be the "action" button, aka the one you use to open doors, activate stuff..etc..
