In the second Metro book Artjom appears as a minor charackter. He is a normal soldier at the Tulskaja. And in the end he gets killed before the Tulskaja gets flooded. My question is whether Last Light and Metro 2034 are reconcilable with each other. Or is it like Star Wars where the books and the movies/tv series aren't reconcilable?
2034 has nothing to do with Last Light, but the next novel 'Metro 2035' is based on Last Light's story. I thought this was pretty well-known.
considering how many pavels there are..., I bet you think the pavel in the armory of Exhibition is somehow related to MetroLL's Pavel hu?
Okay. I wondered, because I remembered that (a) Artjom died in the book. Thank you to make this clear.
The amount of people I've met on the forum making this same mistake. :twitch: Don't worry though, it's not your fault. After reading the book, I thought it was the same Artyom as well. It is not explained in the book that he is a completely different character to the protagonist of Metro 2033. I only found that out after reading an interview with Dmitry Glukhovsky some time ago.
Well, Artyom did find that picture of a mother and a boy in the house whose name was also Artyom, he said there were a lot of Artyoms and it may not be him
I wish there was such scene in LL. There are many houses and apartments we can explore and i was actually expecting for some scripted event or something where Artyom finds this picture.
pretty sure it would require a lot of luck AND the little dark one to find it.. because Moscow aint a small town. If we use logic, we can conclude his home is near the gardens.. where the dark ones's nest was.
