Book Of Eli Is probably the best I've seen.

The Road Warrior (Mad Max 2) is great too

    The Road (2009)

    Children of Men (2004)

The '28 Days' series are also pretty good, especially if you're into zombies.

I was so pissed off at the ending of the the road. It kinda broke the mood and it feelt kinda out of place.

Haven't seen children of men or 28 days but have heard the plot  Think im gonna pick it up.

I think "The Book of Eli" is the best one I've seen, too.

    Escape from New York
    The Road
    I Am Legend

The Book of Eli would also be one of my favourites, if only it wasn't so pro-Christian. :p

the road is okay...but they need to make more good movies. stop worrying about money and worry about making a ideal and releastic movie. (not too realisitc tho :) )

I just realised that I can't think of seeing any apocalyptic movie at all... I've wanted to see Book of Eli, but never get myself to actually do it xD

I don't know if I'd say Escape from New York was post-apocalyptic, but yes, it does have that kind of feel to it. I didn't mind the "pro-Christian" thing in the Book of Eli, since it's part of the plot. :)

^ Ah, yes, Waterworld. I never thought of that as post-apocalyptic, but it is!

Anyone else dislike that there are too many movies that revolve around secks. (Yes, lets do the sects in the bathroom one)
    And not around apocalypse?

Wait, is this secks, sex, or sects? Too many movies about sex? Yes, I agree, it's stupid how many there are. About sects? I don't know too many, actually. About secks? Well... what is a seck?!

    :p

Back to post-apocalyptic movies, I saw a very strange one last night: The Last Battle.

It's French, 1983, but don't worry about subtitles or not knowing French, because only two words are spoken. Pretty interesting movie, and a little funny at times. :)

I would recommend The Road. Obviously not the best, but I really enjoyed the atmosphere and scenery, along with the emotional turmoil that unraveled around the MC and his son.

That's the one Studio Ghibli I have yet to see. Looks pretty good, though the pants thing sounds weird. "p Ha ha!

Well the colour of her pants is pretty much the same as her skin, wich always made me wonder in the beginning xD
But I can tell you right now that she DOES have pants on, haha xP

Just watched "The Book of Eli", and it was really good! o_O
Hope more movies like that will come up. Didn't like it all being religious though......
