Post- Story Free- Roam?

yes but playing as them would preety much destroy what makes the metro series good that is a supreamly made atmosphere that a chainsaw from mount doom cant cut and jump scares that are better than most games (dead space 1 for instance) 'boogy woggy woo' as their laughable design runs at you im getting of track here but my point is that with the games plot it will require certain events to happen at certain times right? if you where able to play the game in a free roaming manner it would have to make massive cutbacks in certain areas (no offensie but this is deepsilver not rockstar) to keep the game running
