For me its ether the 3 grenade pins the bullet I dug out of a kevlar vest or the still live .50 Cal AP from the sandbox that sits on my desk.
Trinkets that I've taken from a place? Like, as in, I stole something from somewhere? :twitch: Well, I'm too sure what to say on this thread quite yet, but I think I catch your drift. I have an unopened box of Twinkies from 2012 -the same year the company, Hostess, shutdown, but then reopened about a year later. I thought it would be worth something, in the future, considering that Hostess said that they would never operate again -oh well. The box cost very little to begin with anyway. I guess I'll continue to just have it there, sitting on top of a shelf, and open them 20+ years to see how they look.
While exploring an abandoned house, Among piles of rotted papers and the animal nests. I found a 22LR pistol ammo bandolier and a 1944 dated grenade launcher sight pouch. Lost both of them but at least I had them for a while!
Nice find. It's a shame they got lost, though. hwell: I have three, 1lbs (.45 Kg), cans of white-lead paint. I didn't even know it was lead paint until now. I had bought them, very cheaply, from this old guy who was moving homes and decided to have a big sale. I don't know why I bought them, especially since I didn't have the intention of ever using any of them. Here's a picture of how the cans look like. Spoiler I wonder if the paint is any good, even after all these years.
