If you don't mind asking, how much will it cost you?

The replicas are $300 :derp: I'm debating on getting either a PMK and a K6-3 and make an "Enter the Metro" style helmet or get the airsoft RPK-74M (a.k.a. the Echo 1 OMG).

Fairly proud of this pic taken by myself on a timer. I normally go hunting at this location and notify the neighbours so that they are not shocked by the sound of gunshots. On hearing that they would actually be gone for the day, I stuck my real gun in the car and grabbed my cosplay for a quick shoot. A gas mask would be a lot harder to explain on a 'hunting' trip :p

Would look pretty similar I'm afraid, it doesn't snow here. As a side note, I'm thinking of getting this: http://www.ebay.com/bhp/soviet-afghanistan-hat but then reverse-engineering it to make it in a darker colour. As shown in my pics I'm a fan of flat-topped caps and its an interesting alternative to a gas mask if I can make the front of my copied version look like a respirator or something, and wear goggles on top.

I'm going to buying some new boots for my gear but I'm having trouble deciding which pair to get.

I like these boots a lot.

    But I like these better!

Only thing is is that my Gorka pants wrap over the boot like normal pants which sucks because I like the pants to be tucked into the boot like a proper military setup. And that's why I can't decide. The first pair is, nice, and would work just fine under my Gorka, plus it's a little cheaper. But then again the second pair looks damned fine! And is my style, but will be covered up by my pants, plus it's about $30 bucks more. I can't decide :(

    What do you guys think?

Just for reference here's one of the pics I put up before that shows the Gorka suit I'll be wearing with it. You can look at the ankle and see how the pant has a stretchy band at the bottom and covers the boot down to the ankle. The boots I'm wearing in the pic are just some work boots, they don't extend any higher than the top of the ankle but that's what's got me thinking about buying the high boots, is there even a point in having the high boots if they'll always be hidden?

I guess I could still always tuck the pants in either way but it's something I'm not to thrilled about.

Buy the second. Both are based on WWII US Army designs, but the lower fits the game's more. Also feel so alone davaing with no Partizan or Gorka, only KLMK -cries in corner-.

I'm mainly going to be using it for paint balling as well as looking badass so it has to have some practicality to it as well. I've played in high ankles boots like this before and they work fine, but I do find it hard to really bend my ankle while behind a bunker. Plus it's a little harder to run in them. Well, not so much 'hard' to run in them, just a little bit slower than I'd like.
