I agree, the sound was excellent throughout the game - not just the music, but the background noise in the crowded stations or the wind and creaking when on the surface. Does anyone know if Alex Omelchuk is returning to do the music for Last Light, or are they getting someone new?

One of the things, perhaps THE thing, that made me get Metro 2033 was seeing an advert for Last Light which had 'Portishead - Machinegun' on it. Perfectly gelled with the shooting of the trailer. Then when I played Metro 2033 I just loved the soundtrack, especially the the track playing at the main menu.

The music was definitely one of the important points in Metro, and other games should learn a lesson from it. I hope that the music will remain in the same style for Last Light. The guitar was especially beautiful.

I loved the soundtrack too, it was a very important and immensely successful part of the game. However, I couldn't decide on a favourite - in my opinion, all of them are equally amazing.
all of them are very good. but my favs is probably the "Tower" one. so powerful yet amazing and makes you think.
i enjoyed the soundtrack a lot. in fact it is one of my favorite. they should have anthesteria do it.
