http://www.pcgamer.com/2014/04/13/mod-of-the-week-ironfall-for-minecraft/ Has anyone tried this mode? What is it like playing TitanFall in MC? For me it seems to be very interesting to see parts of that game remade in MC, although of course movement and shooting and animation is a bit clunky.
Haven't, tried but it looks really awesome. However, I doubt they could really make the gameplay that similar to Titanfall. Titanfall has its own unique gameplay experience.
I haven't played it myself, but I've watched a few people play it on youtube. The gameplay seems pretty good, so long as you give it the benefit of understanding that it is still inherently Minecraft and can't really play like a FPS.
I did try it a while back. I have to say it was very clunky and didn't feel right. I've played both Titanfall and the mod for minecraft. And I know a 'mod' is just what it's advertised. It isn't supposed to be a top tier triple 'A' release. Regardless, the gameplay felt very odd and out of place. I've tried other mods that were based off other sources of media like the Minecraft Hunger Games mode, and that seems to fit well. But Ironfall is something that needs a lot of polishing. Personally, I give it a 4/10.
