Just wondering, does anyone (or does everyone) change their fov? The standard of ~72 doesn't cut it for me, it felt like playing a console game. I changed it to about 97, which is strange, because my typical setting is 93, but 97 felt better.

    You guys?

Sadly, it's not an ingame option, but here's a tutorial for fixing it.

And, here, have some comparison shots.

Isn't 90 FOV rather...erm,like fish eye? Not to mention that sometimes parts of Artyom's hands and weapon are missing. I'm playing with 65 and i find it pretty comfortable.

65 in the config file is about 97. The game uses horizontal FOV, so it's different than standard.

Yes,i know that.Thank you for clarifying though. And i'm using 65,or like you said 97.Now imagine if he plays at 90 FOV.That would be almost 130 "standart" FOV. Can you imagine that?

    telescope stlye

  15. Standard fov on 16:9 works fine for me. I didn't have any incentive to change it.

Yeah, there's a picture in the comparison thread I linked. Apparently, the game breaks a little at that point. That would not be fun to play with.

I changed it too, but only after my third playthrough because that was when I started poking around in the game's files.

There is no slider, sadly, you have to edit the config file. Hopefully there's a slider in the new one (although if it's not labeled, I'll end up using the config file anyway).
