I have tried setting the resolution manually in the cfg file and setting it as read only, highest resolution in the game setting menu is 3840x1200 I tried re-installing windows, i am using a 780 TI graphics card to run the Dell UP2414Q display. Any ideas would be much appreciated, I bought this to play Metro
There are several user.cfg files, if you have changed the one in the game directory, try the other one located at ...\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\4A Games\Metro LL\... The one in the steam folder is technically just for backup purposes.
Yeah just go to C:\Users\*USERNAME*\AppData\Local\4A Games\Metro LL\110000100002d7d\user.cfg <<< or whatever urs says those numbers may be different on different systems. The above folder/ file is the only one that needs to be changed the other locations don't change a thing. They are actually used as a "base" basically for "safe mode" like purposes. create a backup of user.cfg first then... Change this ... r_res_hor 1920 r_res_vert 1080 To this... r_res_hor 3840 r_res_vert 2160
