I don't think you can ever really remove the threat or use of Bots in an open MMO. You just have to enjoy the game as it is and hope that the over-mods ban anybody who they catch.
I assume that they will watch and see what happens. This is much like any other MMO. They rely on the player base to report bots and then go from there. I'm sure that they have a plan to handle it though.
How do you know there will be a bot problem? They should be very much on top of it since you can buy subscription time with in-game currency so bots are effectively *stealing* money from them.
