Why is LoL more popular than DOTA

Beginner friendly and runs on most computers.

 

I think that LoL is better than DOTA because it's way easier to start with, it's great for begginers.
I was a beginner when I started to play LoL and DOTA and playing LoL was way more simple.

 

Easier to get into and less mechanics, there is no turning or day and night in league. Also more balanced and just over all friendlier of a layout. As people said to there isnt a lot of casual dota players but there is a ton for League so easier for people who dont have much time to play..

 

It's essentially a game which demands less specifications and less skills to master. Dota is for those who know the real deal, if I can put things like that. It's also got a very cute childish and anime-like appearance.
