Which Guild Wars 2 Profession Are You?

Guardian for sure! I usually play a healer/support in most MMOs that I play, so Guardian seemed like the natural choice. Really loving it after having been able to play it in the BWE.

In all seriousness though, I have a particular fancy for whirling defence (due to my experience with it in Guild Wars 1), as well as barrage. Two skills which I just can't live without.

 

Totally a guardian. Really enjoyed the class at the last BWE.

 

I'll be maining a Thief.

The resource management system with Initiative interested me more than cooldown management and rotation with other classes.

I just can't go against my natural desire to want to support others. I've played every profession in the past three BWEs and I simply just had to keep coming back to the Guardian. While every class has many support-based abilities and roles, the Guardian, in my opinion, simply has the largest and most varied collection of support skills. Combine that with their melee-oriented role and what's not to love? As much as I resisted falling prey to the cliche of support Guardians and their seeming popularity (I enjoy being different for different's sake) I just couldn't deny at the end of this BWE that it's the class for me.

 

Seems Necros have had low numbers across the web as of late.

 

Seems to be far more cliched than I hoped, but a Guardian too.

 

One thing i learned from playing the betas, all classes are awesome!

 

Woohoo Mesmer! *does a teleportation illusionary warlock dance* Although I love how adaptable all the classes are. If I don't like a class, I know if I just change the weapon I'll find a playstyle I enjoy. :]

My possible profession choices:

Unfortunately I havn't had the chance to play any beta events yet, but judging what I've seen I am gonna go with an engineer to start off, think they are gonna be a cool offbeat class, plus I just bought a new video card, so all those turrets should look extra cool lol. Think I'll roll a thief or Mesmer as an alt...

 

Rangers unite!

 

My favorite class is Ranger, and it also the only character at the moment who is level 80. I just love the bow attacks and having the pet around to dish out some extra damage and conditions along with taking some of the damage. However, I have one of each profession and they all seem to have their bonuses and drawbacks.

 

Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to ply it much.

 

Guardian here. I just love those guys. They can stand toe to toe with almost anything if well geared and specced, can buff their friends and even heal a bit. I had a blast doing Fractals with my Guardian.
