This game, Fallout, was recently recommended to me, but I really don't know much about it. What information is most important for newbies? What tips do you have if any for new players? What's the combat like? Is the game easy to get into? Tell me what you like and don't like about Fallout, please.
Collect as much spare items as you can and take down as many low level enemies as you can. Combat is pretty easy to get into once you get the hang of it. I would also advise finding a safe point to save at before going on any mission.
Stay out of areas with high levels of radiation. Chances are there's a lot of mobs there or worse, a Deathclaw. Make use of the V.A.T.S. as first person can be quite difficult at times compared to actual fps games. Trust no one my friend. Trust no one.
