While it's a cool console to have I don't think it's really that necessary. I'd much rather have an XBONE or PS4 instead of it, even though there are some cool games for it.
Why do you think this? I mean, everyone is entitled to their opinion but the XBONE and PS4 seem significantly better than the Wii U. Maybe you dislike the former ones.
It is the most family centered game, I am always entertained by it, it's innovative, it has familiar titles, my only complaint is that there are not enough new titles.
I'm not a console guy myself, I think a gaming PC can do much better than a console at the same price, but I got gifted a couple and I didn't want to refuse. PS4 is my favorite console, it seems to perform better than the XBONE in terms of gameplay and graphics, plus the design is nicer.
Hmm.. At the moment I'm awaiting FIFA 16's official release and not much. I play Hearthstone, NBA 2k15, Game Dev Tycoon, Caesar 3 (pretty old, but fun) and Rocket League. I don't have time to get bored!
There are some amazing games on the Wii U, it's a real shame that many developers don't support it. Some of my favourite games of the last few years are on the Wii U. Bayonetta 2, Wonderful 101 just to name a few.
Well, Nintendo don't really market the console, it's understandable. I wouldn't have known about the Wii U if it wasn't for my brother who told me about it, in Europe this platform is pretty much non-existant - no one knows about it.
It is not really what I expected it to be when it first came out, and then I learned a tittle more about it and when I purchased one I knew what I was getting myself into, and I have to say I like it a lot. It is interesting, and for me that is better than graphics and compatibility and all of that stuff.
The best part about this console is that we get all the classic exclusives like Mario and some other new and cool games like Splatoon, they have a nice variety, I wish they would market it more.
