Every one has desired goals that want to achieve. What are your goals in life that keeps you striving more?
My goal in life is to finish my education sucessfully and find a job to repay my parent’s sacrifices and hardships they made to make me go and study at school. After that, I want to have a happy and complete family and enjoy life.
I think for me having goals in life requires me to have enough money that I don't have to sleep worrying about it. So that seems to be my goal as of now. Hope things improve in near future.
Basically I have an immediate and long term goals in life. My immediate goal is for me to be promoted in my teaching job soon. The long term one is to retire and come up with my own school in the future.
There's a saying that goes "Try not to be a man of success rather become a man of value." Guess what? My dream is to achieve both.
I wrote sometime that I want or aim to be promoted in my work and retire someday and come up with my own business. But that's a more mundane goal I suppose. For a deeper goal, I really want to be a more spiritual person and in many ways kind to others and myself. I don't want to engage in trivial things and be more open minded.
I just had a life tthreatening situation just a couple of weeks ago and it made a lot of impact with regard to my perpectives in life. Now I try to enjoy the simple things in life with the thought that these things although insignificant may be meaningful in the context of just being alive. Be grateful always. Everything is a gift.
being rich is actually notbad at all. In fact in the parable of the talents, I think everyone is encouraged to do his best wth whatever talents has been given him. It is however bad to love money itself which is an end product of being productive, in that way one falls into sheer materialism.
To finish my education, to earn more on online paying sites. To live a good life and a peaceful one, that right now is my goal. As the years go by I will add more goals to my list.
