If I had to take a guess, I'd say it's probably Stormwind (Alliance side). It seems to be the largest and most elaborate. Alli and Horde cities are very different in Wow. For Horde, I'd go with Silvermoon City. It's the fanciest looking one in WoW.

Irоnfоrgе аlsо hоsts multitudеs оf hоlidаys insidе аnd оutsidе whiсh hаvе rасеs frоm аll оvеr thе wоrld! Yes ! Sоmе mаjоr сitiеs аrе аbsоlutеly bеаutiful likе Silvеrmооn оr Thеrаmоrе but whаt dоеs Silvеrmооn аnd Thеrаmоrе prоduсе? nоthing. Silvеrmооn wаs uttеrly dеstrоyеd аnd wаs rеbuilt. Thаt puts а lоt оf tаxаtiоn аnd dеbt оn thе сity. I саnt sаy Thеrаmоrе аs its just а сrаtеr nоw. Pеоplе might аrguе thаt Stоrmwind wоuld rесiеvе а lоt оf mоnеy duе tо thе plаyеrs thеrе but thе hоmеlеss wеrе еxpеllеd frоm thе сity аnd thаt hаd tо bееn а mаssivе сhunk оf thе сity if thе еntirе dеfiаs brоthеrhооd tо bе rеbuilt frоm thаt pоpulаtiоn.

I see your point, but I'm not so sure. It doesn't look like it has much to show for all its activity. Goblins in World of Warcraft are notorious for swindling people and pocketing all the cha-ching. That doesn't really make for what I think of as a wealthy city. I like your thoughts on Iron Forge. They could seriously make some money from weaponry and booze. World of Warcraft needs a profession of craft brewer, ha ha.
Booty Bay should stand out. This is understand to be a giant port city and receive travelers from all over the world with an outstanding market. The place of the Pirates, Horde, alliance and the argent crusade.
Just seeing Booty Bay kind of makes me want to play some WoW already. That was what I first though in terms of money just because of all the ports, but I am not too sure.
It's not that easy to tell, there are no records, or publications of the GDP of the cities in WoW, LOL. However, based on appearances, I think Silvermoon City appears to be the most opulent-looking, followed by Dalaran then Stormwind.
Apart from Stormwind I'd say Ogrimar. It's rumoured to be the centre of the Horde, so I'd go for it being the wealthiest.
I would pick Stormwind (Alliance side) basically because in terms of terrain seems to have the largest space (which I consider very important in terms of territory expansion). So, I can't think in a wеаlthiеst сity in WoW.
