Im a 'New' Smoker, I just smoke every now and again when my brains really stuck between a Rock and a hard place, makes it easier to think I find, good for problem solving and not doing something erratic and harsh as what I used to do. So it depends on why you smoke, although, I dont like the Cigs that are premade, those are bad for you. but, I think the most pointless thing is, well, thats a hard one...

Maybe, spiders and flies? It seems to me, that flies exist to get eaten by spiders and spiders exist to keep the flies down. Now there are just more and more of both, to the point that you will never, ever, in your entire life (and this was published in one of the most renowned newspapers here) be more than 2 meters away from a spider.
That's gibberish. What about when you're flying with a fly-kite-thing, I dunno what they're called. Parachuting as well. I'm sure some smart guys use spider's web for something. And flies, well, they eat all the sh*t around so it'll be cleaner for us to a very minor degree, so not completely useless...
Back to the whole spiders and flies business, spiders keep down the numbers of harmful insects like ones that destroy crops etc. Many other animals like fish and birds eat flies and no doubt spiders and then depending on where you live and what predators are about other animals eat those too then the food chain just goes on and on until it reaches us because we eat almost anything.
Sorry, I'm just asking if you had a point in that. Or perhaps it was just plain statement of other facts? And yes, Spammers would seem useless, but unfortunately, I have to say, with deep sorrow, that even Spambots have their use.
