Temporary characters you wish were full party members?

Most RPGs I've played have at least one guest party member who tags along for a short period of time, whether it's five minutes or an hour. Every now and then, these temps are just plain awesome. Which temporary character did you want to stick around in an RPG?

I'm going with the one of the originals: General Leo, from Final Fantasy VI. Only had him for one, potentially two battles, but damn was he a cool character. Shock is a boss move. Hitting four times per turn with his normal attack made him pretty awesome, as well. I'd like to play a glitched run where you get to keep him some day.

I've been recently playing Mass Effect 3 and Legion from Mass Effect 2 died at the end of it in my game so he was replace by Geth VI. I loved that little guy, reminded me of my favorite geth Legion. He didn't stick around in my game for too long either.

Hands down, Liberty Prime from Fallout 3. Probably the most fun character in the entire game.

I want Ninlar from Order and Chaos online. She is mostly useless, but she was also bugged for months. I was just so happy to be able to get that quest done that I fell in love with Ninlar. I like the way she turns me in to a human male, even though she is only good for companionship and maybe kocking out a few elves. I still love her.

Ha ha ha! I haven't played Fallout 3, but Liberty Prime can show up in Fallout 4, too, and it's utterly ridiculous. You need to 'escort' it across the city at one point, if you're allied with the Brotherhood of Steel, and despite the sheer number of enemies attacking the thing it really feels like you don't need to be there at all. A giant robot that hurls nukes barehanded is kind of a one-man-army.

I wish you could have used Cyrus or Frog in the form of Glenn in Chrono Trigger. Their plot is so good they could have fitted somewhere in the story line.

You can tell they tried to make up for that a little in Chrono Cross with Glenn. He was admittedly one of the strongest characters, but... it's just not the same.

For me, it would be Beatrix in Final fantasy 9. I loved her character. It would make sense to have her instead of the blasted dumb knight Steiner.

Another one is Dekar in Lufia II. I preferred him so much over Guy.
