I noticed that some people were having trouble to put their Steam ID on their profile, so I decided to write this quick tutorial to help them.

Note: you don't need to use steamidfinder.com
NoteĀ²: your Steam ID is not your Steam name

Step 1: Open Steam and click on COMMUNITY

Step 2: You will se a button called "Edit my Profile", click on it

Step 3: A new screen will open, and you will se the following sentence "Custom URL: http://steamcommunity.com/id/" and an empty box near it. On this box, write something, a word, a little sentence, your name, anything that you like

Step 4: Scroll down the page and click on the Save button

Step 5: Now go to the forum (lastlightforum.com), and click on "User CP"

Step 6: Under "Your profile", you will see the button "Edit Your Details", click on it

Step 7: Scroll down the page and you will see a box with the words "Steam Community ID", and bellow it "Enter your Steam Community ID here." with a box near it

Step 8: In the box, write the same thing that you wrote during Step 3. Click on "Save Changes"

If you did everything right, there should be a Steam Card on your profile, showing your Steam name, 3 games that you own, hours played etc. And the best thing: if someone click on that Steam Card, they will be redirected to your Steam Profile.

Well, that's it, hope you liked it, and sorry for any English mistake.
