What was your saddest moment in Minecraft? Mine would have to be having all of my items and chests stolen in a PvP server.

When a creeper snuck up on me and blew open the front entry area of giant 16th century style mansion. It took me hours to put back together..

Back when I built a wooden house for the first time, I decided that adding a fireplace would be a great addition to the ambiance. It's too bad that I didn't know the range of which fire spreads, causing my entire house to be burnt down. I think I just deleted the world afterwards and stopped playing for a month or so.

After being robbed on my first multiplayer survival server I decided "rob me once shame on you rob me twice shame on me" so i vowed to make sure It didnt' happen again.

Anyway after recovering from the loss of aobut everything I started working on my vault and decided to install a trap that would flood the stairwell with lava if someone tryedto access the vault the wrong way. By now I was kitted out with some enchanted gear and al lsorts of good stuff.

So I set up the trp to spill the lava some distance abovethe vault guaranteeing a thief's fiery death. I set up a test tirgger to make sure everything worked making sure I was above the release valve, safe. I flipped the lever nothing happened obviously i configured something wrong. So I started digging and trying to diagnose the problem, well I ended up leashing the lava on myself and flooding my mine loosing 90% of my stuff. Thank goodness I recovered my bucket and with several trips was able to clean out the lava flowing down to bedrock.

Probably when I lost one of my dogs on a tekkit server. I was heartbroken :( (although I had ten other dogs anyway)

My saddest Minecraft moment would be when the PS3 version was having corrupted data issues. I almost never played again. Thank god they fixed it.

My saddest moment is not from frustrating deaths and destruction of property, but rather the shutdown of one of my favourite servers.

It used to be a server where my friends and I spent lots of time in, to just hang out and chat or to engage in some interesting combat and mini games. I even got to know lots of friends there, of which changed from being my acquaintances to close companions, to the extent which I even went over to someone's near where I lived to chat and play minecraft over LAN. It was a small and humble server, and so most people knew each other well, forming a close and friendly community unlike most of the large servers with thousand of people online at once.

What I liked most about that server is that the single admin running the server does not profit off that server and maintains a food relationship with the players, only accepting donations for keeping the server alive.

However, goods times tend to be short as soon, down went the server. I immediately checked the server website, only to see a message from the admin saying that the server will no longer be online due to education and his parents wanting him to stop the server in favour of graduating with a hood certificate. And he ended it off with a word; farewell.

I was shocked to discover that all the time I spent there, all the fun I had would have to be relinquished, perished into nothing. It was really sad. Everyone I knew could no longer play together again.

However, the food news is that upon completion of his education, the admin will open up the server again, and devote even more time to it :) !

Accidentally deleted a world that had most of my main works :(. Remember to name your worlds clearly so that this doesn't happen to you!

The saddest moment in my Minecraft journey had to be when my pet wolf died. Instead of leaving him inside of my head I made him follow me. Horrible mistake. I went into a cave and there they were; Creepers. They then self-destructed, killing my wolf.

When I spent so much time building up on my friends server then all of a sudden he restarts it. I mean he did say he was going to do it, but I wish he would have made a copy of it so I could setup forever, I hate playing servers and wasting so much time only to have them vanish.

I know how that feels. It has also happened to me. I had a lot of items, I was really sad for a few days :( but eventually I got them back. It just took some time.

My saddest moment was when I was building this awesome looking tower and castle in Creative mode and my game just crashed out of nowhere. Now thankfully I saved the game but it turns out even the recent save file was damaged and all I had was the first save state from where I started with only one brick stomped on the ground.

It's probably when I a skeleton snuck into my base because I left the door open for some reason and I was doing some indoor mining at night and I was just confused when I kept getting hit by something and I can't figure out what and then I died and all my tools and stuff just scattered everywhere and the sad part is, I still haven't build my bed.

My saddest moment was when I fell into the lava with my fresh diamonds that I just found for the first time. It was really depressing.

I once accidentally deleted a world I had created over a lot of time. It was a pretty big hit, but I had a lot of fun building another one after this happened.

An accident fire burned down a few hours of work and a lot of forest, that was a bummer.

2 Creepers creeping up to me through an open door into my storage room with about 20 boxes of stuff..... you can probably imagine what happened.
