I quickly noticed that they where serious so I proceeded to tell my story. I was a man who had lived in the university garden for 20 years. And I then slowly clenching my fost told them how I was the only one surviving the nukes and fire.
My story proceeded to tell them about my base near there with prototypes from tge war that would blow their minds

Ps my lights have been out for 3 hours so sent from phone sorry for typo

We concluded with the talk with the Rangers and shook hands. I put my gas mask on and checked and double checked to make sure everything was working. We walked through a service door and into a room. It was dark and there was nothing inside other than some stairs. We climbed up two floors to were the opening was visible and climbed the near verticle slope onto the surface. There was a lot of rubble and thus it was a easy climb. At the end of the hole there was a small blockage of wood. I saw Odessa, the first one climbing out, push the debris outside and get a lending help from Benji. We continued to all climb out and emerged into a cold and frosty room. There were windows all around but it was still dark since the moon was covered by the clouds. I readied my stuff and slung my G36 over my shoulder and streched. As everybody was ready we opened the door to the outside to see a open street. Unlike other streets this one was clear. No cars, no buses, nothing. Only a dark and eerie feeling of not having a ceiling over your head.

As i took my first step to recon the street i saw a man emerge. He seemed confident. Just poping out like that. And that scared me. I aimed my rifle toward him and hid behind a pillar. Odessa and Benji asked him some questions. I stood there and watched. Was he a stalker, and bandit. Or was he just mad?

Yeah Stalker try to make your posts long. Give them sensory details and a lot of good adjectives to make the roleplay come to life. And slow down lol. We just met you and you already killed a Demon with a AK that came from who knows where. U shud slow down. Introduce your character to the group. And make sure to read some previous posts to understand whats going on in the roleplay currently.

PS. please use the " " keys to abriviate where your character is speaking. Its kinda hard to see when its in 3rd person and when its in 1st person :D

This man appeared to be mad strolling about the surface without a care. He acted as though he was a king among peasants shooting down a charging demon in two shots with an AK hidden amongst his kit. "Sigh, there goes are stealth" I said as his two shots echoed threw the hollowed buildings followed by distant howls. "this place is blown. We gotta relocate before more mutants arrive. Is the man coming or not" I yelled.

Stalker, there is a character thread that you can use to introduce and describe him if you wish to. Just a hint.

*I shot the new comer a frosty killing look. no more stealth, that's for sure. with my IL85 still pointing at him, I started at quick march towards the building lobby. I had a good look around and saw no mutties or other dangers, for the time being, and waited for the guys*

'let's interrogate this idiot. Dark, watch our back. Dima, keep a look out front, the rest of you guys, on me'

*I turned towards our 'friend' and started talking*

'right now I couldn't care less if you just dropped off a plane in the middle of hell. what in the name of all the mutties in the metro do you think you are doing, droping on us like that. we could have kill you first and ask questions later! now, why are you here, and what do you really want?' I said nearly spitting the last words out.

*to say I was angry was to put it mildly. If the nazis had any outpost nearby, they woluld have reported back by now, and Glock could be on the move again to god knew where. and to top it all, we were sure to attract all the demons and howlers within a three mile radius. god, how much I needed a smoke!*

I nodded to Oddessa's request as I ran to the front door window keeper my eye sharp on our surroundings. "if that boy gets us killed I swear to god!" I mumbled

I placed myself quite close to the stranger in an intimidating way, ready to stop him from doing anything hasty. I stood on the side of him, just a little bit on his rear, keeping my eyes peeled on him. In my sideview, I could see how it was just a tired little house that we were standing in, and everything in it was grey.

Mind if I hop in here guys? I've got the character description up in the other thread.

I had known this was a bad idea. I had had a bad feeling coming up to the surface again, I had had a bad feeling about resting up here for a few hours, I had had a bad feeling about this building. But here I was, not listening to my feelings. And I had been so tired earlier. Not enough to be carless and leave tracks up the stairs, but tired all the same. But now adrenaline was coursing in my veins.

It was the noise outside, and in the lobby below, that woke me up. People shouting, walking around. As I finally woke up, I thought I heard a female voice say "now why are you here, and what do you really want?". Grabbing my rifle from the floor next to my bedroll, I shakily racked in a round and did my best not to disturb anything as I walked to the head of the stairs. Hearing more voices, I began to inch my way down quietly, as best I could, my rifle aimed at the door into the lobby.

*Jet suddenly tensed in her carrier. I quickly glanced to my left and saw a set of stairs going up. with a hand gesture I motioned Volk to check upstairs and waited for the newcomer to talk. he seem to hesitate, so I tried again*

'look, if we wanted you dead, you would certainly be howler's brekkie by now. I'll ask you once more, what is it you really want from us?' my patience was starting to wear very thin, and the fact that we were up on the surface, instead of in the safety of the metro, didn't make things any easier.

I nodded in response to Odessa's gesture, walked slowly and cautiously to the door, then suddenly kicked it open to surprise the observer (assuming anyone was actually there). My plan worked, as it seemed the person who was listening to our conversations wasn't expecting me. "Thought we didn't know, eh? As stupid as that may sound, my comrade's cat gave your position away;" I said in a playful way, "alright, now put your weapon on the ground, hands in the air and slowly walk in my direction. No tricks - you're outnumbered... by a lot." I started talking seriously, with my AK pointed at the intruder.

I may have forgotten to mention those two rifles shots. Those probably helped to wake me up, also:). Also just as a RPing note I am currently wearing my shoulder holster and pistol underneath my coveralls, which are zipped up. All my other equipment is upstairs.
"Oh cr.." As the door came flying off its hinges and hit the far wall, I gripped my rifle tighter. A tall figure stepped through, and aimed an AK at me. Before I could speak, he told me to put my weapon on the ground and surrender. Stupid cat.

I considered for a moment, aiming down the sight and sizing up my target, then sighed. I had heard enough voices from below that I knew I couldn't take them all on. Plus, the man in front of me had a look in his eye that said he wouldn't hesitate to shoot. I leaned my rifle against the wall slowly, and laced my gloved fingers together behind my head. Walking down the rest of the stairs, I stopped 1 step above the bottom and said quietly "I don't want any trouble with you, comrade."

I was still covering the entrance to the apartments when I heard a door being kicked behind me. I turned my head to see what happened, and a stalker walked down the stairs, Volk watching him carefully. "This is starting to look like a fucking meet 'n' greet" I said just loud enough for the others to hear, as my lips formed a little smile.

From my position in the entrance I could hear Howlers closing in. As I carefully scanned the street, I caught a glimpse of a shadow in the moonlight. I felt my heart pounding away, but I soon got it under control, and was able to take aim. The next time it rose to it's feet, would be it's last time. I flicked the firing selector to "Semi", and I heard a reassuring "click"-sound. I pulled back the lever, watched as it loaded a bullet, then carefully dragged back the lever, to avoid the distinctive "clonk". I inhaled deeply and held my breath. "Now come forward, you little bastard" I whispered to myself.

Hearing the door break down behind me I cautiously watched until Volk disarmed the stalker. Looking back outside a shadowy figure could be seen creeping up on us from behind the rubble. I looked to darkbringer who had also spotted it and was carefully taking aim with his rifle. I calmed at the sight for I knew just how good of a shot he was. But we would have to move seconds after he pulled the trigger to avoid a horde or worse.

I sat on a piece of concrete debris and waited for something to happen. We were inside the building we came out of taking cover of any possible attack from a mutant. It seemed we had another person join our party. He was a man who came from the stairs to the second floor balconies and Volk escorted him to the open where we were stationed. I was growing tired. Of waiting.

I heard a noise outside and as i looked out the large 3 by 10 foot windows i saw a large dark figure ontop a 3 story building. This part of Moscow housed smaller apartment complexes compared to the larger skyscrapers of western and central moscow. An ideal location for a mutant. I saw Dark aim at the creature and we caught a short glimpse. I got out my G36 and told everybody,"Ill cover you guys from the other side fo the street. And dark cover everybody in this building. And everybody else, I recomend we straighten this mess out quickly. We are waisting time and soon the moon will come out, we will be pretty exposed. And about the to others, leave them. If they dont cooperate. its not our problem. They arent hrting us so why should we even bother waisting our time on them."

Just then i slowly opened the main door and through the small opening i exited the station. It was a old bricked building with no pillars supporting the outer roof. The structure was within the inside. It was crumbling down and it looked like a grenade can make the whole thing collapse. I slowly crouched behind a concrete block and while the shadow turned around i slowly jogged to the other side of the street. There were no cars on the road so there was no way of getting cover.

I approached the tenant house and walked through the door that was open. I didnt risk turning on my light to get attention and so i didnt. I climbed the stairs next to the door to the second floor, through a small room and lay prone next to a window. I checked my rifle and waited for trouble.

I rogered Zhenya's decision, and motioned for the others to move while I covered them. The wind started howling, and the snow obstructed my view slightly. The wind would also cover any sound coming from the mutants. In other words, we were the prey.

I glanced toward the older man in the brown jacket and cargo pants, who was obviously the other outsider amongst this group. The women whose voice I had heard and a man were standing nearby. He was wearing ... was that a Satanist gas mask? That didn't bring up pleasant memories. What sort of crowd was this?

They all were swinging into action, getting ready to cover the building. Probably a good idea. I had seen a pack of those .. freaks, mutants, whatever, up here earlier. "Maybe I should tell them that." I thought out loud.

Walking past the tall man with the AK, who still had it trained on me, I stopped in the middle of the lobby. Making a quick guess, I said to the woman, who appeared to be in charge, "Look, I don't want any trouble. You guys are the ones crazy enough to start fucking firing off rounds up here." I paused for breathe, then continued in a calm tone "Listen, if you guys need any help getting out of this, I'd be perfectly willing. I'm not a threat."

After that, I waited. I knew I had had a bad feeling about this.

What happened was a blur atleast. We tried to interrogate the fool who popped out of nowhere, who answered nothing, and now this fellow pops up.

I raised my rifle slightly, and said to him after he said his peice, "S'alright kid, no one's gona shoot anyone if you drop any shooter you have and keep quiet... for now." I said it in as friendly a voice as I could manage. I never did take anything up on being friendly. People who reach my age almost never are. "Just keep low and don't act like an idiot. We're in deep shit right now, so the last thing we need is two fucktards prancing around with guns, without us knowing what the hell we're suppose to do with you. So, you want to keep it nice and friendly? Put down any shooter, and sit down."

Finally realizing that I should comply to get my way I sat dowm and stripped off my armor and my thick tight gas mask in the cold area. While ist taking off these items I noticed a pack of cigars in my pockets and asked "anyone want a smoke there great for stress ". Strangly the female said yes.
However I decided to say my true purpose "i need a ride to tul skaya station". "On the way we cam stock up on pre war prototypes then at the station we will take the metro 2 ".
At the mere mention of the metro 2 the people seemed amazed.

    .also hows my inproved writing?

Thestalker, I may be new at this, but may I make a suggestion? Part of roleplaying is letting other people dictate their actions, not you saying how they react to something. Just a thought. Otherwise, its a good improvement so far. Keep going. If I'm wrong on any of that, just let me know guys.
Prancing? :D I don't prance. I wasn't going to say that out loud, of course. "Sorry. When things get tense, my mouth tends to run. My rifle's back in the stair well with your friend."

I had a bad feeling about putting down my pistol. It had been a gift, it was a pre metro weapon, and if any of those things outside got in here, I didn't want to not have a weapon. Still, it would probably piss them off if I didn't give it up and they found it later. "Now, don't be getting nervous while I pull this out." I unzipped my coveralls, reached in, and pulled the pistol out slowly. Setting it reluctantly on the floor, I backed away a step and sat on a crate.

Leaning over to the man in the brown jacket, who had just pressed a cigar into the woman's hand, I said quietly "Might want to put your mask back on, unless you want to be growing something strange. Like a third arm." The guy had a death wish, taking that thing off.

The others starting discussing east and west, while the situation got more and more tense from where I was. The shadow I had seen earlier seemed to have got closer, to the point it was only 40 meters away. In the meantime, another shadow had appeared among the rubble, and I thought I could hear howlers, despite the gusty wind.

With my mind racing a silhoutte suddenly neared me extraordinary speed. When I finally got my aim right, it was only 4 meters away. I had flicked the selector to semi-automatic earlier, because I thought we could dictate this hunt, but since then, everything had went sideways, and we were now the hunted. I quickly double tapped the trigger, and a moaning sound was heard from the beast. The momentum of the beast caused it to fly towards me in the air, and it was only in the nick of time I managed to launch myself backwards into the doorway. "Go now", I almost yelled to the others, despite trying to control myself.

Just as I had said that, another shadowy figure appeared not far from where I had spotted the first one.
