    What's so wrong about talking about knives? I'm sure if someone started a knife-thread on this forum, it would get a lot of posts. How can you be so goddamn certain that the forum will be flooded and become like most other official forums? You're acting like old grandfather-like men who's sceptical and criticizing about everything from religion to modern technology.

    If The Stalker-forums is an exception, then I take that as a clue that this forum will also be an exception seeing that Metro is made by some of the same producers, is being published by the same publisher (Not to mention that Maurice Tan, the Deep Silver Community Manager, has said personally that he will try all he can to prevent what you guys are worried about), and that Metro and Stalker are actually quite similar games if you look apart from the open-world contra the linear.

    If you are leaving this forum just because it'll become official and you aren't capable of stearing away from "battles" by your own will, then I say you're not fitted nor willing to really be a part of a forum. In fact, if you're gonna keep promoting and showing that attitude, I say be my guest.

    Okay the knife example wasnt the best example.
    But to be more exact it was about some people wanted their "old" knives back.
    Plus somebody started a trhead about somebody being retard.

    People are making a mountain out of a molehill.

    It takes effort and a commitment to register and contribute to a forum. The reason people join is:

    a) They are interested in the Metro Universe (looking for info or to share ideas)
    b) To Complain, offer Suggestions or Feedback
    c) Join into a community
    d) Technical Support

    I hardly think a die hard COD fan will join anway and even if they do and post their ideas it's hardly the crime of the century. I'm sure Bamul will condition/discipline them and teach them what the Metro experience is all about. :D

    More the merrier, there is richness in diversity!!!!

    Now can we have a bloody release date! ;)

    All I am scared of is the mods becoming police. I mean skaara had already gone crazy with censorship. BUT I think what we need is for the forum to be advertised as only for hardcore people. If that is done then I doubt many cod "noobs" will join. And of course we should just have stricter laws on making thread. Like people can't make threads against others or ask for stupid things in game. The forums will remain great if this happens. but it MUST be shown to only be for people who understand about metro and not for idiots who will spam and be retards.

    Why the attitude? I'm just stating an opinion here! Am i allowed to have an opinion? Yes! Then let me express it! And when have i criticised religion or modern technology? Are you sure you're talking about me? Go back and look at all of my posts and tell me WHEN i've criticised religion and technology.Please! I hardly find anything to criticise.
    Fine, make lastlight an official forum. It's not something i own and it's not something i've contributed to aparently. In fact feel free to ban/lock or disable my account anytime you want!

    For your information, by the way, I never said that you have critisized religion or modern technology. You need to read my post closer and try to actually understand the meaning of what I am trying to say, otherwise you make mistakes like you just did. I wrote that you were acting like an old man who critisizes For Example religion and modern technology. Sorry if I seemed unclear :)
