When you shapeshift into a Norn do you stay wearing your armour?
In the concept art it has shapeshifted Norn's wearing armour and such, I think it would look stupid if all Norn looked the same in shapeshift lol.
If they didn't wear the armour into shapeshift, what happened to the armour, did it just magically disappear... ? O_O

Dev's have said you will keep your armor on w/ stats etc. However, it doesn't appear that the armor will be visible.

However, another point here is there is very little synergy to use the snow leopard elite *as a thief*. Long cast time means you will have to open with it and why open with a non-stealth elite vs almost any other stealth opener they have recently added? Bear, wolf, or raven maybe.... just don't see a lot of value in the leopard for the thief class. Shape shifting might be better suited for guardian/warrior/ranger/engie. Bear HP is supposed to stack with existing pools, some warrior/guardian/ranger/enge builds are limiting in direct damage. Wolf is supposedly some sort of buff form. And while raven is rumored to compliment caster stats, there may be better options.

Synergy aside if you wanted to mix up play style (tank, meele dps, and whatever raven/caster and wolf/buffs do) anyone could go norn to have fun doing entirely different things.

Norn transforming into animals with armor = win.

We won't really know sadly till ArenaNet tells us more details.

I'm having doubts we'll keep armor though it would be awesome ( like that picture ) do you really think all the armor sets in the game will fit on bears and other forms? It's possible but it seems doubtful due to the video. :(

I'm confused... I think you see in the video two posts up that you don't visibly keep armor in the pre-release version. They have said interviews that you keep the stats.

Most of those concept arts are for other races. Not the Norn.

Like those bears are Kodan concept art pieces. I'd imagine the wolfman one is probably NPC also since all footage we've seen is clearly w/o armor.
