Just the other day New World was hit by an item duplication bug which resulted in wealth transfers after players decided to exploit the situation. The Amazon team is working on removing the duped item and players who are directly involved were permanently banned.

Only 500 players were involved in exploiting the bug? That sounds sus af.

Now how will they recover the wealth that was transferred. It is good they were banned. At least now I've confirmed that a gamer could be banned from playing a game.

Maybe someone tried to hack the game.

Obviously there are risks involved when your are game creators. All Amazon can do for now is to get rid of the items duped in glitch.

Those are the ones who were found to be directly connected to all the wealth transfers. These are the ones who were exploiting the bug.

This means there could be more than 500.

This means there is no online business that is safe from attack or hacking.

The bottom-line is anything created by man can be exploited in one way or another.

Coders are looking for new ways to exploit those Trojan Backdoors.

Russians are more skilled in hacking and decrypting links to websites and games. Those are the only people I could suspect.

Some even get paid to do so. They are paid to expose vulnerabilities.
