Oh God, there's still another video they're going to show. I want to embargo myself from seeing any more, because that showed plenty for me.

 

I agree with Rilence... However I feel like the narration was a bit too light-hearted and comical for the Metro, that is, unless it was narrated by Ulman... (don't think it was).

 

I agree with Pip, it sounded a little strange compared to what we're used to, taking the Genesis trailer as a good example.
But all of that information would have taken way too long when told by a more serious tone, because that would mean that the voice must had been darker/deepers and more importantly, slower.

 

I love how there was a female companion!

 

At least the filter swap animation has been improved...

 

I also noticed that, and that was something I actually noticeably missed in Metro2033 after playing HL2 + Ep 1 & 2, with Alyx Vance you know.
I'm looking forward to be playing with her

 

Don't worry, these featurettes are separate from the series of trailers like Genesis and Salvation

 

I assume that was PC footage. No way in Hell is the game is going to look as good on PS3/360.

Kudos to 4A Games for pushing PC graphics.

Saw this on YT and.............

1. Voice narration is awful. Metro is a grim post apocalyptic world filled with despair and hope for survival. It's a survival thriller genre. The narrator made it sound like a mission on Left for Dead with comedy puns. It's far too comedic for me.

2. There should be a release date at the end of the videos.

Apart from that looking good, but that narration spoiled it. Like listening to a Walt Disney character.

Edit - I wonder if that is the new Ulman? If it is then leave Khan's narrator doing the voice overs.

The stars on the St. Basil's cathedral... Do not shine... ?

I would have loved to see them shine. It would have been even cooler if one glance at the stars would drag your view to it (kinda like a really strong aim assist).
It's also a shame that the cathedral is quite damaged. In the book it remained almost untouched by conventional weapons.

 

The devs have said a few times that they wanted to make Kremlin stars exactly as described in the book in M2033, but they couldn't find a playable solution. I suppose they did the same for MLL.

Loving the visuals - the environments are much more varied now and each character looks much more unique. Also, I'm not that bothered about the less serious narrator. From what we've seen in the previous trailers, it's quite obvious that Last Light is going to be a really dark & gloomy game. It's clear that whatever comedy we see in the final game will probably be dark humour.
