It seems like someone has indeed purchased the rights from Glukhovsky to produce a Metro 2033-based film. https://variety.com/2016/film/news/michael-de-luca-metro-2033-dmitry-glukhovsky-1201729863/
Wikipedia tells me De Luca produced Fifty Shades of Grey... I don't know if I'm happy with Glukhovsky's choice.
Yes, I just saw it on Facebook, in one of PCgamer's newsletters http://www.pcgamer.com/metro-2033-i...m_source=facebook&utm_campaign=buffer_pcgamer Apparently it's already in progress, so let's hope it's not too long until it releases
I hope they don't fuck it up- I also hope they return to actually making games in the series rather then nothing but movies. But- this may be a step forward into popularizing the Metro series in the modern-media, prepare for new members boys.
This is true, I hadn't thought of that! Maybe this will contribute to the forum on a rather large scale
Hmmm, interesting. For the sake of my comment, lets say that they'll have an Anna character in the film and...well, as the story goes in metro LL....:eyebrows:
It's bad enough they made it happen in the game, but they're not gonna force me to watch that in a movie... Oh, the horror! :fear:
In the end-credits, the audience will read: "In dedication and in honor to Skaara Dreadlocks; The hook-up scene between Artyom and Anna." If there is an Anna actress, I'm gonna contact her and tell her you're her biggest fan and you'd like to meet her in person. I'll tell her that your favorite level in the Metro LL Chronicles Pack DLC is the one tiled "Ana"
HEY VON STREFF, IT'S GOOD TO SEE YOU TOO I hear your book is getting further and further, eh? No news on the movie as of yet. If I remember correctly, an assumption of a release date was somewhere in late 2017 / early 2018?
Haha, hey Skaara. Books are slowly coming together Thanks. 2018 is aaages away. But I guess if time = quality, this is a good thing
