Way back in the days, yes! I remember I used to grind hours and hours only to get 5% on my progress beyond level 100 of my character in Flyff. New MMORPGs now are into questing to level-up. Nonetheless, it still requires a lot of effort and time to reach a high level.
Most of rhe games I played are all time consuming. Is there a game which doesnt require time, I mean lots of time to play. You wont enjoy a game if dont give a time to play it and appreciate it. That's my opinion.
I definitely think it is time consuming. Like mining gold and getting elixir. Those things take time and in turn keeps the user engaged. So thats time consuming.
But the thing is that the time consumption is a lot more. and often times we can't do much about time consumption if we want to play the game.
What about you guys? Is it too time-consuming to play MMORPG for you?
Same goes to me, while I play my online shooters it takes me just a couple of hours to fulfil my gaming itch, when it comes to MMORPGs, you can bring your top 12hours of playtime and there will always be someone that puts his 18! This constant urge to improve and compare yourself in terms of gear and weapons that you carry, and the amount of gold that you have is a bit biased in my opinion, as in most online shooters (for example) only your skill determines your value. Because of this precise reason, I have quit MMORPGs entirely, and online shooters are the new fab-diet for me! Here's a list that I would recommend to anyone interested! eneba.com/blog/best-online-games-to-play-right-now/ Hope you'll have a good one, cheers!
Yes I think playing games is time consuming. My mom always gets angry because I always sit in my desktop/ps. Everytime I play the time is too fast but atleast I enjoy everytime that I consume playing games.
I have two friends, one of them can spend the whole day playing some of these games, while the other one only plays them once in a while, so it is true that it depends so much with who is taking part in the game play.
