I am sure that everyone knows about games such as Fortnite, PUBG, Realm Royale and so on. These games have one common thing which is the battle royale mode. It is almost a trend now to become a Battle Royale game. But who was the creator of this trend? If you remember, there was a mode in Minecraft called Survival/ Hunger Games; it was about surviving and becoming first, just like the Battle Royale games now. So can we say that Minecraft was the first game to have Battle Royale feature?
I think soon minecraft will evolve or die. Because you have to keep innovating otherwise games don't make it to future.
Well i'm not sure if minecraft was the first to have that feature. But it really doesn't matter because every game is an evolution of other games in my opinion. What i'm sure is games will just evolve for the better.
All battle royale games are from MINECRAFT (The first battle royale games). That's what I believe in, but I might be wrong though.
I think DOOM is the one started the trend. But at that time the flying and jumping into map was not option. So people used to just multi play into the map.
Im not sure if minecraft is the first ever that feature. But I think Minecraft is much better in some games out there for sure.
Battle royale is into the FPS. Whereas the Minecraft is not really into FPS but more or less into the game that deals with the survival. So it's not into that type of the games from what I can tell you in such case.
I think battle royale has completely different concept to what the minecraft added into the game. That's what I have seen so far.
I don't think it is the starter. There have been many games before Minecraft came and so I'm sure there is a real starter but I don't know which one because there is less information on the web.
