I'm not sure what to say... I'll read it all first then post my thoughts. Thank you for posting this Komodo! Well this was very informative and a great way of setting the seen for LL. Now we know how strong the connection between Artyom and the last dark one is.
WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????!!!!!!! So in the begging Artyom will already know of the baby dark one. NOW I CAN'T WAIT ! T_T
From how depressing Metro 2033 was I fear Artyom will not be able to save the Dark One, but who knows? Thanks a lot for posting, Komodo
The first three chapters of Metro 2035 are already available at in russian. P.S. OOps! Nope sorry. It's just some fanfic.
I read this in Polish as it came with my version of one of the "Universe of Metro 2033" books, so I had it spoiled completely - but this was still a great read/look. Off the top of my head, it seems that they kept it identical word for word (though in English)... well, maybe they shortened it a bit, but I honestly can't say for sure. My memory isn't that good as I read it a long time ago. An epilogue to Metro 2033. Metro 2034 is set after the first one, but it is not a direct sequel and the character called Artyom that appears in it is a completely different person to the Artyom from the first book and the games. This epilogue wasn't ever released in English (I think) until now. Originally it was just text and, if I remember correctly, a bit longer - not in comic book form.
Wow, this comic really made me feel awful. The ending of Metro2033 is ten times worse now, and the story itself is ten times stronger. It makes so much sense now! This also made me realize that when Artyom said something along the lines of "And the key to humanity's salvation, I hold in my very own hands", he referred to his ability to communicate with The Dark Ones!
Here's one I made. Pass is "artyom." Don't really want it spreading throughout the net' even though I expect it will eventually (I guess I just don't want to be responsible).
uh, you can view it online. It's in GOOGLE DOCS, which scans for viruses in any file you upload (or download). It's real.
