After playing Origins, I was really craving more of the Dragon Age universe. I was happy to see that there are a few novels, and the ones I picked up (The Stolen Throne and The Calling - both written by David Gainer, the lead writer for DA:O) were really, really good. It helps when the same people who write the game end up writing the books too.

I'm noticing now that there are a few comic book series, with one currently being published by Dark Horse called Dragon Age: Magekiller (by Greg Rucka).

Has anyone checked it out? Or have you read any of the novels?

I knew there were DA novels, but I didn't know there were comics! Though, after looking at them, I'm not really a big fan... Something about that art style is putting me off. I actually prefer some of the comics and stories some fans have done. siriusdraws on tumblr has made some great short comics!

Thanks for the Tumblr recommendation, I'll have to check it out.

Yeah, the art is hit-and-miss and obviously not for everyone. I feel like I could overlook it thought if the story is solid.
