Does anyone even use the Horse in Dragon Age: Inquisition?

There are mounts in the game, and quite a LOT of them, ranging from horses to giant blind piglets. But anyone else feel like these mounts are just... redundant? They're slow, cumbersome, and generally not useful anywhere except maybe... NOWHERE. It just pisses me off so much...

I only used the horse for that race quest I think. It's not really worth using all that much. If you could gallop or something, or if it was faster then running, then they might have been useful. But you're correct they are super slow and cumbersome.

The horse in Inquisition is probably one of the worst means to travel in a videogame. It's actually worse than walking and the fact that I'm saying this and it's the actual truth means a lot. One of the many reasons I can't stand that game. And yes it is an actual problem the fact that your movement speed doesn't get better throughout the game, it just gets more annoying the more you play that you're constantly this slow.
