Nope I always wanted to get into guildwars 1 and almost bought it on a couple of occasions. At the time however I was very into WoW as were my friends so I didn't want to split play time. I am done with WoW now and after seeing some stuff on Guildwars 2 I can honestly say I am very much looking forward to it.
WoW is pretty much fading away now, will likely temporarily bloom when the expansion hits but i don't think it will ever be back to its glory days.
Yep and own all the campaigns and Eye of the North. Haha better question do I have my Hall of Monuments done? - haven't even started it. Bought Eye of the North last spring (it was on sale for really cheap at Target). Then went through the pain of trying to figure out how to log into GW1 (they have made it so you have to enter one of your character names in order to login, you would think that would be easy). By the time I got it worked out I was too busy to actually play GW1 at the time. Planning on diving in and figuring out the Hall of Monument stuff in the next month or so.
Ahhh, the Hall of Monuments. Didnt even care about it till the rewards system. I fought, slashed, and bought my way through it till I got my undead chicken pet... ahh, Im going to be a happy necro when 2 goes live.
I forgot my password to GW1, and lost access to the email of my account. FML. Oh well don't really care too much about the HoM
I currently have 25/50 HoM done in GW1 so far. I have been getting points pretty quickly though cause I've gotten back into it recently.
Of course! My bet is that their will be more people likely playing GW2 that haven't played GW1 when the game goes live though, similar to how 99% of the population of WoW never played WC3.
I played it for several years and enjoyed it all. The last year or so though I only log on for events (and to get my mini pets). =(
I didn't play GW1. But I was wondering whether it would be worth getting into just for the lore aspect?
