When I first joined EVE Online, which was back in 2006, I didn't like the idea that I was one person hooked up to the ship and I was the only one piloting it. I have always preferred that capital ships had crews with designated roles, that could gain experience and level up and I am the commander.

With this said, since I have not gone back to EVE since 2007, so I don't know what has changed besides the expansions, would you like it if EVE gave all or most ships the ability for crews or would you still prefer the one-person per ship idea? Crew members are NPC's by the way, with the option to allow players on your ship and take over a station, but those details can be sorted out later.

Yeah, a crew member with certain roles is far better, that way more of your friends can serve more viatal roles in the overall gameplay
