Chernobyl Diaries? anybody? i wanna see it. its this style of filming that attracts me, (like apollo 18, etc.) based in chernobyl as a group of tourists visit a tour. Yeah, I saw this trailer a while ago, but the fact that it's done by the Paranormal Activity guy turned me off it. They should make a Russian horror movie in Chernobyl. It would be epic then.
I'm going to have to agree with Von Streff, after the first Paranormal Activity it just got really bad, but hey, Chernobyl Diaries may be a good movie. You never know.
The trailer looks alright and despite how little I like what I saw of paranormal activity, this looked quite cool!
Now that you have said it, yes. From what I've seen in in the trailer they are in pripyat and not in Chernobyl. But I gues that some see the whole area including Pripyat as Chernobyl and not just the powerplant.
No kidding... Chernobyl is 30 kilometers away from Pripyat.And the Chernobyl powerplant is 3 kilometers away from Pripyat. The trailer clearly shows they are in Pripyat,not Chernobyl.
Would chernobyl be too radiated maybe? Also people may have heard of pripyat from things like stalker and cod4
Both Chernobyl and Pripyat are save...more or less.The problem are the grass and the moss that absorbs radiation like a sponge.The soil is pretty contaminated too. There are people that live in Chernobyl on a 2 weeks in-2 weeks out schedule-scientists,tour guides,cleaners,police officers,guards,etc.
They should call it Pripyat diaries... But yeah, the whole area is commonly called Chernobyl by people who know little about it (such as myself!)
ofcourse it might not be completely a good movie. but ill never know if u dont watch it. im hoping to see it however, just to see how it is.
Well, there are certain movies which you don't need to see to know they're terrible. But yeah, love that area of the world, I hope they do a good job.
