I'm not sure how true this is or not. But this is a good place to ask about it. I've read on a reddit post that Blizzard is trying to create a Diablo coin. The coin will literally be real cryptocurrency like Bitcoin. If this is even proven true, anyone thing the coin will last?
I haven't heard any news of this and a quick search did't return anything either. I would be very surprised if this is the case and even if it was, I would bet against it being successful.
With the broad range of cryptocurrencies on the market, it wouldn't be a wise move at all and Blizzard knows it. Also, Diablo is not even their most popular franchise. If they would make such a (dumb) move, they would go with a Warcraft coin.
