Ubisoft Promises Improvements to The Division’s Loot System! Get the Details on the New State of the Game!

by on May 5, 2016

Ubisoft released the new state of the game blog post this week for Tom Clancy’s The Division. The new blog post featured some details about the upcoming 1.2 update for the game, which promises to offer “significant improvements” for the game’s loot system.

Specifically for The Division, the loot system has had a dearth of higher-quality items for the end-game content. For example, playing the higher areas of the Dark Zone and beating bosses there tends to not produce the higher grade items players are looking for. Hopefully, Ubisoft is telling the truth, and playing the Dark Zone can yield some better quality items in the future. The latest update for The Division is currently going through some “extensive QA testing” according to Ubisoft ahead of its upcoming release.

The blog also addressed the cheating issue for the game. According to Ubisoft, a number of cheaters were banned and this has already improved the experience for the Dark Zone. Another part of Ubisoft’s plans is to punish in-game chat spammers.

It will be interesting to see if Ubisoft is actually able to follow through on the loot system for the game. Tom Clancy’s The Division is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
