CD Projekt RED has finally revealed the launch date for The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine. The next expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is due out sooner than you think. The expansion will be available on May 31. A new teaser trailer and images for the expansion were also released. You can check out those below.

Blood and Wine will mark the “final mission” for Geralt of Rivia. The expansion features more than 90 new quests and 30 hours of new content. It will also feature a number of new features including the Point of Interest system, a new Gwent deck, new endgame mutation mechanics and even a place that Geralt of Rivia will be able to call home. According to game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, the new region of Toussaint is as big as No Man’s Land in the base game.

In Blood and Wine, Geralt explores Toussaint, a remote land that’s untouched by war. He will have to unravel a horrifying secret behind a beast terrorizing the kingdom. It also appears there will in fact be a Unicorn encounter based on the screenshots.

There will also be a limited edition box set for Blood and Wine that has physical versions of the Northern Realms and Nilfgaard Gwent decks. Blood and Wine can be purchased individually or part of The Witcher 3 Expansion Pass. The expansion will be available on May 31 for Xbox One, Windows PC and PlayStation 4.
