Ubisoft has released a new State of the Game for Tom Clancy’s The Division, has reveals that the game will have a new update arriving next week. The State of the Game will be a weekly blog update from the game’s development and community teams.
Per the blog post, “The game may have just released but we already have a new update for you to dive into! This will be in your hands next week and fear not, more information about it will be revealed very soon so keep your eyes peeled. … The roadmap ahead is super exciting and this is only the beginning.”
More details on the update will be revealed later on. Additional free updates with more content are set to be released for the game in April and May. Paid DLC is set to launch for The Division later this summer. It remains to be seen if the update will balance some of the issues players are having with the Dark Zone feature.
The Division is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. The game broke records for Ubisoft just 24 hours after its release. In addition, the game became one of the top four new IP game launches in history alongside Watch Dogs, Destiny and Assassin’s Creed.
