The Dark Brotherhood Launch Dates Revealed for The Elder Scrolls Online! Get the New Details Here!

by on April 25, 2016

Bethesda Softworks has officially dropped all the launch details for next DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, which will be Dark Brotherhood. Dark Brotherhood officially launches next month for the Windows PC and Mac on May 31. It will then hit Xbox One and PlayStation 4 a little later on June 14. The DLC is included with an active ESO Plus membership, or it can be purchased for 2,000 crowns at the ESO Crown Store.

In Dark Brotherhood, players join the guild of assassins and return to the Gold Coast, which has not been seen since The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The assassins have a new and exclusive passive skill-line. Players will have to defend the Brotherhood against a mysterious foe with the new story content. There are also new repeatable assassination quests.

The new skill line in the game relates to murdering citizens and allowing the Shadows of Sithis to protect you from the consequences. The deaths are sanctioned by Sithis, making the assasssins the hand of the Void, essentially making players avatars of Death itself. For the Dark Brotherhood, the rules of Justice are for those bound by Nirn, not who are directed by the ideals of Sithis.

The DLC will also feature new items through in-game quests and new Dark Brotherhood items that will be available at the Crown Store.  As previously reported, the players can have early access to the Dark Brotherhood DLC on the ESO Public Test Server (PTS) starting today.
