The developers for the MMO video game Smite, Hi-Rez Studioshave announced a new patch for the game that adds some new features to the console version and a number of fixes. You can read the full patch notes for patch 3.5 at the above link.

For the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game, the patch adds a new 60 FPS mode. Players will have access to this new mode by selecting “Enable Upcoming Features” in the options menu in order to unlock 60 FPS. In addition, God selection is now available in the new grid match for all modes except for the training maps.

The patch also offers players a new playable character in Skaid, the Goddess of Winter. She goes into a battle with a wolf at her side, and she can toggle between having the wolf, Kaldr, attack or enter a form where he can regenerate health and is immune to attacks. There are a number of new changes and bug fixes to smooth out the overall gameplay as well. So hopefully that will make Smite a more optimal experience for its players.

Update 3.5 is now available for the Xbox One version. It hits the PlayStation 4 version of Smite tomorrow (April 12).
